SUPERHERO: THE MOVIE
(Actually, It’s a Series)

“Superhero: The Movie” is a ten hour comedy, superhero television series.

Set in New Jersey and inspired by people who shouldn’t be heroes in the first place, we explore the crossroads where fact meets fantasy.

A less twisted version of Deadpool...a spoof of Iron Man...a more mature version of Shazam...

Let us metaphorically close our eyes. Imagine a hilarious guy with a beard, playing a millionaire CEO of a successful online retail company. He has a heart of gold, along with everything he’s ever wanted, except for one thing. Since a small boy, he dreamed of becoming a real life superhero.  Unfortunately, he's just not the typical hero type...

Now, imagine a handsome, typical, superhero man (you know the type). However, this guy is actually an emotionally troubled Hollywood stunt coordinator who hates heroes, and yet, accidentally acquires superpowers. These include disintegrating a robber’s pants from a distance, teleporting from work to home, flying, acid spit (which interferes with his dating life), and something that's either high IQ or super honesty (the insulting kind)...he’s not quite sure yet. These difficult to conceal powers have forced him to quit his dream job.

However...our CEO billionaire who dreams of becoming a hero accidentally witnesses these powers in action.

He wants to be a hero.

The other guy does not.

A beautiful plan is hatched.

Our Hollywood Stunt Coordinator will use his powers from a distance to make it seem as though our CEO is blasting lasers from his very own hands (pow, zap, wam!) and flying. Actors will be hired to play the villains and victims while unsuspecting citizens watch from a distance in awe as our CEO turned superhero suddenly swoops in to rescue people from a burning building. The Hollywood Stunt Coordinator not only gets paid, but he gets to return to his dream job of putting together elaborate stunts, all while participating in creating superhero productions IN REAL LIFE.

Lying and toying with unpredictable powers.

What could possibly go wrong?

Hilarious, explorative on what makes a real hero, and an extremely unlikely friendship (the best kind). In a world that devours superhero entertainment, “Superhero: The Movie (Actually, It's a Series)” contains a comedic twist that captivates audiences while still giving them the action and drama that they endlessly (and timelessly) crave.
