Welcome and thank you for tuning in! I think that tonight feels like a great night for a book trailer AND cover reveal, don't you think? The long awaited Perception and Deception IV is almost here!
***If you are a beta reader,*** you can expect to receive a copy of the book by Thursday or Friday of this week! For the rest of my beautiful readers, you can expect the book to hit shelves in early December. More details to come.
This entire project has been such a hope filled blessing for me through 2020. I thank God regularly for giving me writing. I can feel God's special favor over this project and can't wait to see where it leads the series.
So to begin this virtual unveiling, let's all sit back, relax, and enjoy this one minute, cinematic trailer for Perception and Deception IV!
Well, if that doesn't get you excited to read the book, I don't know what will!
And now, for the book cover! I went back and forth about the design for this cover for a loooong time. One day, my mom came over and we started talking about it. I thought of using a boot. Why? I don't know. Seems like a spy thing to do.
"What other items are important to the story?" Mom asked.
I shrugged. "I don't know. She wears a blue dress during an undercover scene. I'm trying to think of what else she has in her suitcase."
Mom snapped her fingers and an imaginary lightbulb appeared over her head. "What about a suitcase? You could use that for the cover!"
Growing discussion quickly turned to action as we began setting up props and taking pictures of a suitcase, dropping items in that we thought a spy might have on a mission, including the boots, gloves, her royal blue dress, and a mess of wires for spy equipment spilling out over the edge. I then used the photo and turned it into art.
So without further ado, let's reveal the final product!
What do you think? Pretty cool, right? Well, that's all I'm going to show you for now. But maybe...just maybe...I might post an excerpt from the new book within the next day or two on this blog...
Have a spectacular night (and for my UK and Australia readers, a spectacular day!) and may God bless you with a safe, healthy, and happy week!
Love,
Andrea
