REVIEWS:

"I have been invested in this series since book one, and I think this is my favorite installment yet. Not only are we watching Faith working on her own mission alongside a new partner, but her husband Ashton is busy trying to train as an agent. And Wolf and Juro, because they would be incomplete with either the team grandfather or the team grump. However, with this story, we get to have a new POV- Faith's father in 1997. It was great to follow him on the journey he took that would lead him down the path that has everyone in the present questioning the results. The action was great, but I also loved the relationships between all the characters old and new. Most of all, though, I loved the mystery and the angst as we were brought deeper into the Perception and Deception world by seeing what is, in many cases, an origin story. Only, an origin story with more twists and turns than I've seen before. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a good, clean story, especially a good spy story (because, who doesn't?)."
